Synthetic Makeup Brushes And Their Uses
Here are some descriptions of the most popular vegan (synthetic) makeup brushes and their uses. These ultra-soft bristles are perfect for sensitive skin. You will notice the difference immediately. Synthetic brushes will last many, many years with proper care! 1) Angled Shadow/Liner is just fantastic and people love the way it applies eyeshadows. Some people were hesitant at first, because of the length of the bristles. They soon learned that with synthetic bristles, the shape and cut must be different to work best. This brush keeps the makeup tucked inside the bristles, which helps you apply makeup directly to your eyelid and not all over your face. 2) Mini Kabuki is just the best shape and size and for many makeup applications. They are affordably priced, so it can be part of your everyday kit. 3) Crease Brush (Contour) is another brush that is often overlooked until you try it. This is shaped for control of the application. When blending the deep shade in the crease of the eye, having the right brush makes all the difference. The brush is round and allows the user to place and then pull the dark shade into position. I love it for under the brow too, where you use the end/tip and can smooth a highlight shade very close to the brow line. 4) Powder Buffer (Kabuki On A Stick)- So many people like soft, full brushes for all over powders, blushers, bronzers, etc. This can be used as a Kabuki with a handle too, so it's a really great style and multi-purpose. 5) Large Kabuki is a a full coverage brush that is mainly used for foundation application. Be sure you are using only the best brushes! To care for your brushes, simply wash them once a week in the mildest detergent you can find. |
