How do I choose my foundation color? Here is a general guideline for chosing your foundation color: Ivory - This color is for women with the lightest skintone and who always burn. Fair - This color is for women with very fair skin who tend to burn very easily and usually will not tan. Light- This color is for women with average light skin who tend to burn more than tan. Medium - This color is for women with a medium skin tone who tend to tan easily and seldom burn. 80 percent of women will choose medium as their foundation olor. Tan - This color is for women who never usually burn or are simply tan year round: Latinas, Pacific Islanders, Asian. Deep/Dark - This color is for African American women. Concealer - This is a multi-purpose color of makeup that covers all flaws. It can be used to highlight dark skin, to cover acne, scarring, beauty marks and uneven skin tones from pregnancy.
